Keds and I have a long history... From grade school until now, these classic sneakers have found their way into my wardrobe.
With an invitation to preview their spring collection, I had to stop in to see what's new. The event was held at The Eveleigh, in what felt like a secret garden-with shoes whimsically displayed on tabletops and chairs. Since 1916, Keds have given us what we've all come to know as the All-American canvas shoe. This spring, they're freshly updated with playful prints, stripes, patterns, and chic metallics. There's even a cool collection of chukkas for men in great neutral suede (for sure going in my husband's closet).
Something new on the way is Keds Clothing for He and She. In collaboration with Opening Ceremony, they're continuing the "classic Americana" spirit with its spring line. Look for a palette of navy and white, stripes, pretty daisy prints, and fanciful Peter Pan collars. For men, there's everything from a blue canvas sportsman blazer to twill shorts and slim colored pants. Women, love the stripe varsity blazer, contrast pocket wide leg pant, scallop daisy shorts, and white dot stitch pullover (below). Pieces range from $120 for shorts to $280 for blazers. The collection will be available for purchase online and in-stores April 25th at Opening Ceremony.
I continue to be a fan of Keds for its go-to style and affordability. And this spring, so excited to sport my new skippers!
