Fabulous for Less Under $250: Spring's Colored Jeans

When making a list of what to buy each season, for me, most important is versatility and comfort.  Being a mom, my clothes have to work for me on and off the job.  With denim playing a big role in my wardrobe, I knew colored jeans would be a fun trend to experiment with this spring.  As for how often I can wear them?  Certainly, not as versatile as medium or dark-washed jeans, but there's very little guilt at this price.

Get the Look: For a day of errands.  Shopping, post office run, or picking up the kids from school.  Where we live, it's spring/summer-like year round. We can go from sandals to boots all in the same season.  But for spring, wedges are a favorite.  You can't go wrong with a shade of nude.  Love it with jeans, shorts, maxis, or mini dresses.  The straps on these Charles by Charles David are great as they're designed to move with your feet.  I think it looks really chic with these green skinnies.  A camel colored sweater or cardigan is the basic that pulls this look together.  I accessorized with a printed scarf in a contrasting yellow.  It feels unexpected and playful; this one is light and airy.  A crossbody is another must this season and essential for a day like this.  Again, in a shade of beige for ultimate versatility.  Add a cool ring or pile on friendship bracelets to finish the look.

Note: If heels aren't for you, ballet flats are also a fabulous option.  Adore this leather bow pair by Steve Madden.
