I've been doing a lot of holiday dress shopping lately; just too many to choose. So decided to feature some of my faves. Today's dress is for the girl who loves her curves-definitely falls on the sophisticated side but beyond sexy. The jeweled asymmetrical shoulder and draping is absolutely stunning! Fabulous for Less Under $250: The Holiday LBD

As we continue the holiday series, I've chosen the LBD as the inspiration of this week's "fabulous for less." Highlighted in this feature...a sexy, one shoulder body-conscious mini dress styled with just an edge for that glam holiday party. It's one of my favorite looks-also perfect for a night out and one I definitely see myself wearing.

The best thing about this little black dress is its versatility; you can go from sexy and understated to total rocker chic. With this one shoulder style, I chose fabulous statement jewelry and accessories to give it major edge. Faceted teardrop pendants combined with chain links, gold and silver glass cut bangles, bold domed ring, glazed textured clutch, and studded cutout booties pulls it all together perfectly. The play on textures really gives it that standout look and black opaque tights keeps it fab and streamlined.

Note: Earrings weren't include, but you could certainly add simple gold hoops if you'd like. Although unnecessary with the statement necklace. Click on photo for larger view.

So much talk about the White House party crashers... Lets bring it back to the real story-that gorgeous gown Michelle Obama wore for the State Dinner. I'm still ooohing over it. Indian-born designer Naeem Khan told Larry King that he wanted something "Indian, chic, simple but very glamorous for the First Lady." And I couldn't agree more. This is my favorite dress Michelle has ever worn! Strapless style shows off her amazing shoulders and is so elegant. Gorgeous nude color and silver sparkles against her skin-tone; love this column silhouette for her. Stunning!!!
